New Ford Bronco Sport for Sale in Quincy, IL

The New Ford Bronco Sport at Gem City Ford Lincoln: Smaller, But Still Wild

The Ford Bronco has an amazing history as an off-road performer, but some of our customers in Quincy prefer the same off-road performance in a smaller package. For those customers, we at Gem City Ford Lincoln in Quincy are proud to introduce you to Bronco's little sibling, the Ford Bronco Sport. The Bronco Sport is a bit smaller and more gasoline efficient than the Bronco but can also shine off-road. It also has many of the great features of the larger Bronco to assist your outdoor play.

Performance

You get your choice of a turbocharged three-cylinder engine delivering 181 horsepower versus a turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering 250 horsepower. The latter gets 28 miles per gallon on the highway versus 26 miles per gallon for the four-cylinder model. Either way, you save on gasoline while getting good performance. Towing capacity is up to 2,200 pounds. Available accessories such as all-terrain tires, undercarriage plates, and front tow hooks aid your off-road wanderings.

Four-wheel drive is standard across the trim models with five drive modes standard:

  • Normal - Gives a mixture of economy and performance
  • Eco - Saves on gasoline
  • Sport - Optimizes performance
  • Sand
  • Slippery

Each drive mode is designed to optimize engine and transmission performance in a specific situation or terrain near Hannibal. A rock crawl mode and mud/ruts drive mode are available on some trim models to add even more off-road capability. The Ford Bronco Sport's ground clearance is higher to aid in off-road performance. Also, off-road enhanced trims can single out a rear wheel and provide more torque to better assist traction.

Technology

There is a standard multimedia screen with Apple and Android integration. Since the Ford Bronco Sport is trail-ready, it has bread-crumb navigation available to get you back to the trailhead. There is also voice-activated navigation available for your jaunts around town. A rear camera is standard.

Interior and Exterior

The Ford Bronco Sport is smaller than the Ford Bronco, but it retains the distinctive looks that turn heads. This crossover SUV sits upright and has a rounded front with a large grill area.

The Bronco Sport can seat five passengers. Its interior is roomy, with plenty of room for cargo, including storage under the seat and a pull-out table in the rear. Like the larger Bronco, the Bronco Sport has easy-care surfaces that can be washed and wiped out after off-road play.

Trim Levels

The new Ford Bronco Sport has six trim levels:

  • Ford Bronco Sport Base - The Base trim model has the three-cylinder engine as standard, an eight-speed automatic transmission, four-wheel drive, and flip-up glass in the rear to provide better cargo access.
  • Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend - The Big Bend trim model adds a carbonized gray grill with the Bronco name written in white and carbonized gray wheels. MOLLE straps along the rear of the front seats provide storage space for your smaller items. Two liftgate floodlights are also standard.
  • Ford Bronco Sport Heritage - The Heritage Edition has all of the capabilities of the Big Bend on the inside. Its outer styling replicates the Ford Bronco produced in 1966, so the grill is white, as are the wheels and the rooftop. The rear seating is made of a rubber compound to make it easy to wash out Fido's mess.
  • Ford Bronco Sport Outer Banks - The Outer Banks trim model adds leather seating, aluminum wheels in ebony and black, as well as a remote start app.
  • Ford Bronco Sport Badlands - The Badlands has advanced off-road capabilities, including higher ground clearance; the four-cylinder engine; the twin-clutch, four-wheel drive system; all seven drive modes; off-road suspension as well as available added water fording capabilities.
  • Ford Bronco Sport Heritage Limited - The Heritage Limited Edition is designed to pay homage to the 1966 Ford Bronco that started it all. On the inside, it is the most advanced Ford Bronco Sport with standard higher water clearance and ground clearance. It also has as standard the turbocharged four-cylinder engine and the advanced, twin-clutch four-wheel drive that sends power to individual rear wheels.
